The Custom Photo tag is our speciality, in fact we formed My Geo Gear to bring this concept to the geocaching public.

We can take almost any photo or image and turn in into a trackable tag just like a groundspeak Travel Bug (TB)

Q. So what can I put on the trackable ?

A. Just about any picture or image for example children’s party, Photo of your dog or cat, Photo of your wife or mother in law the list goes on and on.

Q. What image formats to you accept ?

A. We accept most image formats for example jpg, gif

Q. What size or resolution should the image be ?

A. The higher the better, just remember it will be on a trackable which measures 29.5mm x 51.5mm. This works very well for photos etc.. as we re-size them to fit.

Q. I have a Photoshop or similar image that I would like to submit but the upload process does not accept them

A. Due to software limitations our cart does not accept some formats. Simply leave a note in the box provided and email the file to us as sales@mygeogear.com

Q. What can I not put on the trackable ?

A. You can not put copyrighted images, logo's etc. unless you have the owners permission. Also the photo must meet family standards! And must be approved my groundspeak (We will seek approval for you)

Q. Can I put my company logo on the trackable ?

A. Yes, Providing you own the copyright.

Q. Is there a minimum order quantity?

A. No, in fact most of our customers order 1 or 2 at a time

Q. Is there a discount for higher quantities ?

I have been a customer of My Geo Gear for over 12 months now and simply wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Their customer service is second to none with quick responses to questions and helpful advice when it is needed. They have now done over 10 different designs for me, from one off tags to give as prizes at events to a run of 100 tags for me to resell.
I am in the UK and I can honestly say that from initial submission of design to the finished article coming through my letterbox is quicker than most of the UK companies offering a similar service.
I run a caching Facebook group and if people ask about where to buy trackables I point them towards My Geo Gear every time.
